[jira] [Created] (FLINK-1130) It is confusing what version a quickstart.sh is for.

JIRA jira@apache.org
Aljoscha Krettek created FLINK-1130:
---------------------------------------

Summary: It is confusing what version a quickstart.sh is for.
                 Key: FLINK-1130
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-1130
             Project: Flink
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Aljoscha Krettek
            Assignee: Aljoscha Krettek
             Fix For: 0.7-incubating

There is quickstart.sh, which right now creates a project that has 0.6-incubating as dependency, and quickstart-SNAPSHOT.sh which creates a project for 0.7-incubating.

Maybe we should keep quickstart scripts on the website and not in the main-repo and have the version number in the name of the script.

Ufuk Celebi-2
I encountered this as well yesterday when preparing the website for 0.6.1-incubating.

I'm pushing it right now, but +1 to change it afterwards as you proposed.
